April – National Jazz Appreciation Month

This month-long observance celebrates the heritage and contributions of jazz music and musicians. It was created by the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History in 2001.

April 1 – April Fool’s Day

April 2 – World Autism Awareness Day

This day recognizes and spreads awareness for the rights of people with autism. It was established by the United Nations in 2007 and encourages member states to take measures to raise awareness and support inclusion.

April 22 – Earth Day

First celebrated in 1970, Earth Day promotes environmental protection and has grown into a global movement. It raises awareness about climate change, pollution, and the importance of conserving natural resources.
